Located in Uptown Charlotte along a corridor of explosive growth, the Uptown 550 Mixed Use project forms an important gateway for the Center City. The 22 story high rise tower houses luxury apartment units, office space, and ground level retail. A top floor level is the home for a mix of apartment amenities and dramatic exterior terrace. Along the I-277 Freeway, the structure shifts from concrete to 4 story wood-frame over 2 story concrete podium. The interior courtyards are shielded from adjacent street traffic and allows for valet style drop-off that steps up to both public and private exterior courtyards.
